IPL 2021 is set to be played in UAE for the second leg after playing the first leg in India. BCCI wanted to take the tournament outside of the country and It was UAE and Sri Lanka which were the options to host the remaining matches and finally UAE has been finalised.
Why is UAE the best choice for IPL 2021 - Being in UAE why I am excited?
Why do i feel UAE is best for the IPL 2021 remaining matches?
1. Experience of hosting the event earlier. In 2014, UAE was the second country after South Africa to host the IPL followed by the IPL 2020. It was a successful venture for both the cricket boards – BCCI and UAE.
2. Superior infrastructure and practice facilities along with flight connectivity. UAE has three international grounds, one each in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.All three venues are well connected.
3. Logistics & Ease of Travel The players generally prefer to stay in Dubai since Sharjah is only a 30-minute drive from there while Abu Dhabi takes just one-and-a-half hours.
4. Secure Cricket Stadiums where fans could be allowed Dubai has the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi has Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium and in Sharjah, there is Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium and fans could be allowed due to highest standards of security levels.
This makes the UAE the best option for the IPL Fans across the world.
